A Perfect Weekend at Azure Bay

Forty-eight hours is enough to properly unwind — if you spend them well. Here's how our guests turn a short stay into a real escape.

A weekend by the sea works best with just enough of a plan to feel effortless. The idea isn't to fill every hour — it's to line up the good moments (a sunset, a spa slot, a table by the water) and let the rest drift. Here's a two-night rhythm our guests come back for.

Friday — arrive and exhale

Aim to arrive by mid-afternoon so check-in feels unhurried. Drop your bags, change into something loose, and let the weekend begin gently:

  • 3:00 PM — Check in, open the balcony doors, breathe.
  • 4:30 PM — A first walk along the private beach to get your bearings.
  • 7:30 PM — Dinner at the seaside restaurant as the light goes gold.
  • After — A nightcap at the beach bar, or an early night. No wrong answer.

Saturday — the full day

Your one complete day is where the weekend earns its keep. Balance something active with something restful:

  • Morning — Seaside breakfast, then a swim or a coastal walk while it's cool.
  • Midday — A lounger by the pool, a book and no agenda.
  • Afternoon — A spa ritual — the thermal pools and a massage are the classic pairing.
  • Evening — Watch the sunset from the terrace before a slow, celebratory dinner.
Book the sunset, not just the day. The best terrace tables and prime spa slots go early on weekends. Reserve your Saturday massage and dinner before you arrive, and everything else can stay wonderfully spontaneous. Our assistant can line them both up in one conversation.

Sunday — a slow goodbye

Check-out is late morning, so there's no need to rush. Have a long breakfast, take one more walk to the water's edge, and if you're not quite ready to leave, ask about a late check-out — it's often possible and it turns a good weekend into a great one. Many guests use the extra hour for a final swim before the drive home.
